Frequently asked questions
Is electronic notarization valid in the Philippines?
Yes. The Supreme Court’s Rules on Electronic Notarization (A.M. No. 24-10-14-SC) took effect in March 2025, and nationwide eNotarization launched on October 19, 2026. eNotarization must be done by an Electronic Notary Public using a Supreme Court-accredited platform.
Do I need to be in Cebu?
No. An Electronic Notary Public can notarize for clients anywhere in the Philippines, so you can appear by video call from wherever you are.
Will the office receiving my document accept it?
Most should, but some offices still ask for paper originals. Check with the receiving agency, registry, bank, or foreign recipient first. We’re happy to help you confirm.
Can I still have documents notarized the traditional way?
Yes. We continue to offer traditional notarization of paper documents at our office.
